All Saints’ Parish Picnic Saturday, September 18 Please sign up on the sheet in the back of the church and let us know you are coming and what you will be bringing. In addition, on Sunday there will be a second sign-up sheet for the Picnic requesting a donation of your time. Please sign up and let us know if you would be able to bring a grill, help cook, or help set-up or clean-up. Many hands make light work!
Sunday School News Sunday School sign-ups are currently ongoing. Forms can be found on the table in the back of the church. Please complete the form and drop it off to the Parish Office.
In addition, there will be a Sunday School In-service Meeting for parents and teachers on Sunday, September 19, after the 9:15 service. Sunday School officially starts on Sunday, September 26, immediately following the 9:15 service. If you have any questions please email Diana Grover at

New Sunday Service Schedule The new Sunday Service Schedule begins September 12. The new service times are: 8:00 a.m., 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. In addition, at 10:00 a.m. there will be an Adult Forum that will be facilitated by Father Shakespeare, Deacon Rose, and others. This will be a time of Christian education and formation. If you have any questions, please contact Father Shakespeare when he returns.
Adult Education and Christian Formation The Adult Education and Christian Formation group begins on September 12 at 10:00am in the Parish Hall with an eight week study. The first two weeks of the study we will be looking at the reasons many people now choose not to go to church and the second session looks at the various convincing reasons for remaining in church. Please grab yourself a cup of coffee and a bite to eat and join us for a time of study and conversation.
Outreach News The Outreach Committee’s Project Backpack is well underway and we have already been blessed with many donations! We will continue to receive donations through September. You can put your small change in the backpack located on the table in the back of the church. Thanks for all of your support!
Parish Newsletter The next Parish Newsletter is scheduled to be sent out on Monday, August 30. Please call the Parish Office at 732-291-0214 if you would like the newsletter mailed to your home. Otherwise it will be sent out via email. Copies will also be available in the back of the church. Father Shakespeare on Vacation Father Shakespeare will be on vacation for the remainder of the month of August. In his absence, Father Bill Riker has been celebrating the Sunday and Wednesday morning services. However, if you are in need of Pastoral care, or know of someone who is sick or in the hospital, please contact the Parish Office at 732-291-0214.
Prayer Request Cards If you would like us to pray for someone you know that is in need, please complete a Prayer Request card that is found in the back of the church and put it in the Offering Plate. The persons named will be put on the Parish Prayer list and will be remembered during Sunday services and the Wednesday Healing service. |
